2nd Shooter

Jelani invited me along to shoot with a Corvalis model, who we met up at Powell butte. (this is becoming a recurring theme in my shoots lately!) Anyhow, it's always interesting shooting from the background. I was able to give a little direction, but most of the ideas, concepts and direction came from J-man ( :

Anyhow, here's a couple quick edits from the last set we did. More to come.

I've had a bit more energy now that work has been cut back to 2 days a week. Last weekend Jelani and I made a trip to the coast and thought it runs against the grain of our vacation morals- we snuck in a few tourist attractions.

We walked along the beach both days:

Though he did get a couple shots in...





(I found a lot of cool sea life including a GIANT purple jelly fish! I will post the video later).

Also, it was a beautiful day out. It was in the 60's which is perfect for my overheated (bun in the oven) self!





Next day we visited a light house. Paid $7 for a 3 day pass (as if we'd be dying to go see a light house 3 day in a row!) and only stayed for a few minutes. There were some CRAZY flies out that were attacking everyone! Special bird/beach flies that I'd never seen before.

Last, we found a couple good places to eat. Jelani always goes for the fish and chips.

New Direction

I realize that I have thrown this excuse out there for a while now, but my website truly IS in the middle of some changes. I have been making some major business decisions, including one to cut back my various sessions. What I mean by this, is simply that I am not Jack of photography; I don't want to be. I am better at certain aspects of photography and it's these areas in which I need to focus and expand upon.
So, once my new site launches, I will have skimmed down my galleries and honed in just a couple of specialty packages/ sessions ( :
