Walk Through Senior Session

I am very excited about this new "Seniors" venture and love the idea of offering young girls the opportunity to experience a day in the life of a model!!! I will be offering makeup application with each of my Senior sessions, as well as styling tips, hair touch ups and a super fun, rockin shoot with me!!!

One of the best parts of shooting with Lavenda Seniors will be the transformation that occurs before the cameras even start rolling. Our expert makeup artists are trained to enhance already beautiful features to their best and most fabulous. Here is a beginning shot of one of our seniors, Rachel, from Eugene. (She had just begun a bit of makeup application):

After Alicia's magic touch we travel outdoors where it happens to be outcast (perfect weather for photos!!!) and we run into a beautiful blue building where we decide to take a few first shots.
A combination of great light and good makeup can do wonders! Here is a beautiful shot of Rachel, straight out of the camera:

Since all of my seniors will receive fully retouched shots, here is a sample of the final photo:

More pictures from this shoot will be featured on my site in May!!!

Lady Gaga

My initial inspiration for this photo shoot, was actually a W editorial veering on the side of playful. This is probably why I was surprised to hear people compare several of these shots to Lady Gaga. (Must be the pink wig?)

Anyhow, after perusing the web in search of several of her music videos, photo shoots, and anything else touched by Lady Gaga, I decided that, yes, these photos lend themselves to a little something crazy such as Lady Gaga.

So here ya go.

One Little Monkey

I was thinking today, how amazing it is to love a child. In the states we seem to claim love for everything from Mcdonalds, to aspouses on our wedding day. But kids. Aren't they something else?
Anyhow, here are a few snapshots I took of Ella the first day of our trip to hawaii. She was soooo excited to have a bed to bounce on after that long plane ride. Well, see for yourself ( :

Glamour Magazine

I am always excited to see my photos in the bigger picture, via print, website, et cetera. I was very excited to have my photo used in a Glamour.com article featuring hair piece designer, Austy Eckley.
This is from Sara Seven's 2009 bridal line. We used Austie's hair pieces as a the final styling touch and used Anna Adams as our featured model. Madi M was on makeup!
Check it out!
